Role Overview As an SDE Intern (Java), you will join our dynamic engineering team and play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing Java-based backend systems that power our core financial services platforms. This internship offers hands-on experience with technologies like Spring Boot, microservices, and cloud-based architectures, all while learning clean coding practices and modern software development workflows. Key Responsibilities - Assist in the design, development, and testing of Java-based backend services and RESTful APIs. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following standard best practices. - Collaborate with senior engineers to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues. - Contribute to the integration of microservices and backend systems with databases. - Participate actively in code reviews to enhance software quality and reliability. - Work with tools and technologies such as Git, Spring Boot, Maven/Gradle, and MySQL/PostgreSQL. - Document technical workflows, design decisions, and system improvements for future reference. Requirements - Strong understanding of Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, and data structures. - Familiarity with Spring or Spring Boot frameworks. - Basic knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. - Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. - Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. - Familiarity with Git/GitHub for source control. - Enthusiastic about learning new technologies and contributing in a collaborative team environment.
