Role Purpose
To lead and drive revenue growth across Modern Trade (MT), Institutional Sales, and HORECA channels by building strategic partnerships, strengthening distribution, and ensuring execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Growth & Strategy
Develop and execute zonal sales strategies aligned with company objectives
Drive topline growth, market share, and profitability
Identify new business opportunities and expansion areas
Achieve sales targets and volume growth
Modern Trade Management
Manage key national & regional MT accounts
Negotiate annual business plans, margins, and promotions
Ensure in-store visibility, execution, and product availability
Monitor sales performance, inventory, and replenishment
Institutional Sales
Drive business with corporate clients, government bodies, and bulk buyers
Handle tenders, contracts, and long-term agreements
Develop customized pricing and solutions
HORECA Channel Development
Expand presence in hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses
Build relationships with chefs, procurement teams, and distributors
Introduce relevant SKUs for HORECA consumption
Ensure consistent service and supply
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing zonal team
Set KPIs, monitor performance, and conduct reviews
Drive capability building and succession planning
Channel & Distribution Management
Strengthen distributor network and coverage
Resolve channel conflicts and ensure alignment
Monitor stock, logistics, and supply chain efficiency
Financial & Commercial Management
Manage budgets, trade spends, and ROI
Ensure pricing discipline and margin adherence
Monitor receivables and collections
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Track competitor activities and market trends
Provide strategic insights to leadership
Maintain accurate forecasts and MIS reports
Eligibility
Graduate in any discipline / MBA preferred
Experience Required
10+ years in FMCG sales, preferably in Modern Trade, Institutional, or HORECA channels
Proven track record in team leadership and revenue growth
