Role Overview
The Zonal Training Manager is responsible for driving execution of all learning interventions across the zone, ensuring alignment with central priorities and business requirements defined by the Zonal Sales Manager. The role combines strong facilitation capability, field execution, stakeholder collaboration, and ownership of strategic projects.
Key Responsibilities
Training Governance & Planning
- Own and drive the monthly training calendar for the zone, integrating central initiatives with local business needs.
- Ensure timely communication of all training priorities to field teams.
Stakeholder Alignment
- Work closely with Zonal Sales Managers, State/Cluster training teams, and central L&D.
- Partner with brands for deployment of brand-led training programs.
Program & Project Ownership
- Anchor centrally driven projects end-to-end: conceptualization, execution, adoption, and impact tracking.
- Provide regular updates to the reporting manager through defined weekly cadences.
Field Capability Building
- Travel periodically to priority stores requiring additional support.
- Step in for cluster trainers when required (new hire onboarding, certifications, quarterly assessments).
Facilitation
- Deliver manager capability programs for Department Managers and Store Managers.
- Conduct behavioral and capability-based workshops.
