Location: Delhi NCR — In-office
Experience: 10 to 15 years in Insurance / IMF sector
Qualification: Graduate (MBA in Sales / Marketing / Finance preferred)
Reporting To: Founder / Managing Director
About the Role
We are looking for a driven Zonal Sales Head to lead and grow our sales team across Delhi NCR. This role demands a customer-first mindset with strong focus on ethical selling, lead retention, and first-time-right execution across Health, Life, and General Insurance.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive new business acquisition across Health, Life, and General Insurance product lines
• Own and execute the lead retention strategy — every lead tracked to closure
• Ensure zero mis-selling — transparent, compliant, customer-first selling at all times
• Maintain a clean customer database and ensure correct documentation at every stage
• Embed a first-time-right culture — 90%+ first-submission acceptance across the team
• Manage and grow the IMF partner channel across Delhi NCR
• Build MIS reports and present pipeline insights to the Founder / MD
• Recruit, coach, and manage a high-performing team of 5 to 15 sales professionals
Must Have
• Experience in lead retention and pipeline management
• Zero tolerance for mis-selling — strong ethical selling practices
• Hands-on knowledge of customer database management
• Understanding of customer login policy and proposal documentation protocols
• Knowledge of financial and medical underwriting documentation requirements
• First-time-right (FTR) mindset and ability to drive it across the team
• Minimum 3–5 years in a sales leadership role within insurance or IMF
• Prior experience managing Delhi NCR territory
Good to Have
• Knowledge of IRDAI guidelines for Health, Life, and General Insurance
• IMF sector experience and existing partner network
• Proficiency in MIS reporting and dashboards
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce or Zoho
• IRDAI certifications — IC-38 or Licentiate
