Key Responsibilities

  • Formulation of Contracting Strategy for various project segments and ensure alignment of the strategies in line with the budget and business plans.
  • Develop Vendor database for all trade packages
  • Review & Monitor Prequalification process for shortlisting tenderers for contract awards
  • Reviewing Tender document including but not limited to drafting of Special conditions of contract.
  • Conduct Tender techno-commercial negotiation meetings with tenderers & Internal stakeholders.
  • Formulation of Contract award recommendation note and coordinate with approving authorities for approving the award recommendation.
  • Preparation & release of LOA, Contract documents.
  • Anticipate potential claims and minimise the impact of claims during contract period.
  • Administering cost variations/ extra items through valid amendment work orders.
  • Identify possible counter claims
  • Validate & tracking of contractual compliances like Bank guarantees submitted by the vendors.
  • To act as an arbitrator between the company and the contractor
  • Ensure proper contractual communications to minimize claims
  • Terminate the contracts on contractual grounds taking into account delay analysis, fact assessments to ensure no counter claims from the contractors.
  • Resolve and settle disputes between the contractors and between the client and the contractor
  • Prepare closeout and closure of contracts
