Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bangalore /Chennai as Zonal Head. The Zonal Head will oversee the sales and strategic business objectives across the south zone, ensuring seamless execution of sales through one of the largest bancassurance relationship. The individual will be responsible for managing regional sales teams, fostering partnerships with key stakeholders of one of the large private bank, driving revenue growth, ensuring compliance with organizational standards, and identifying opportunities to expand the market presence. The role requires setting measurable goals, monitoring sales performance, and providing leadership to achieve business targets across channels.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in sales, business development, and revenue generation, specifically in healthcare insurance or financial services sectors
- Proven leadership skills, including team management, performance optimization, and stakeholder engagement
- Operational excellence in planning, strategic decision-making, and implementing market penetration strategies
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to develop effective sales plans
- Proficiency in working in open architecture
- Experience in compliance and regulatory standards within the insurance or financial industry
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field is preferred
- Willingness to travel within the zone and work with diverse teams
