We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Backend Engineer (Golang) to join our team and lead a team of 5-7 backend engineers in the development of our innovative products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead a team of backend engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews.
2. Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services using Golang.
3. Implement caching strategies (e.g., in-memory caching, distributed caching) to improve application response times.
4. Leverage message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) for asynchronous communication and distributed systems.
5. Design and implement scalable and maintainable microservice architectures.
6. Implement robust logging and monitoring systems to track application performance and identify issues.
7. Apply appropriate design patterns (e.g., MVC, RESTful API, CQRS) to ensure code quality and maintainability.
8. Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
9. Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.
10. Contribute to the development of our technical architecture and standards.
11. Make technical decisions as needed to drive project success.
12. Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

1. 5- 7 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on backend engineering.
2. Strong proficiency in Golang programming language.
3. Experience with backend development frameworks and libraries (e.g., Gin, Echo, gRPC).
4. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
5. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
6. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
7. Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
9. A passion for building high-quality software.
10. Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers.
11. Experience building products or features from the ground up.
12. Experience designing and building scalable and robust systems.

Technical Skills:

1. Caching: Experience with in-memory caching (e.g., Redis, Memcached) and distributed caching solutions.
2. Message Brokers: Proficiency in using message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka) for asynchronous communication and distributed systems.
3. Microservices Architecture: Understanding of microservices principles and experience designing and building scalable microservices-based systems.
4. Logging and Monitoring: Experience with implementing robust logging and monitoring systems (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus) to track application performance and identify issues.
5. Design Patterns: Familiarity with common design patterns (e.g., MVC, RESTful API, CQRS) and their application in backend development.
6. Scalability: Ability to design and optimize applications for high scalability and performance.
   
   

Bonus Points:

1. Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
2. Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
3. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
