Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development

1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, growth, and collaboration.
2. Hire and onboard top-tier engineering talent to expand the team and strengthen Zocket’stechnical foundation.
   

Technical Leadership

1. Drive the design and development of scalable, robust, and efficient systems focused on performance, reliability, and security.
2. Provide hands-on technical guidance for tackling complex challenges and ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
   

Product Collaboration

1. Work closely with co-founders, product managers, and designers to align engineering effortswith the product roadmap.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define new features, enhance existing functionalities, and address technical debt.
   

Process Optimization

1. Establish and refine best practices for development, testing, deployment, and maintenance to improve efficiency and product quality.
2. Advocate for automation and process improvements to minimize bugs and speed up release cycles.
   

Technology Ownership

1. Oversee critical platform features like ad creative generation, cost breakdowns, and international ad support.
2. Drive innovation using cutting-edge technologies such as LLMs, SDXL, ControlNet, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
3. Design scalable architectures that cater to the growing needs of our expanding customer base.

Required Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in managing and scaling engineering teams, ideally within a SaaS environment.
2. Strong expertise in backend technologies (e.g., Golang, REST APIs, SQL optimization, Gin framework).
3. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and tools like Glue, CloudWatch, and vector databases.
4. Deep understanding of software development best practices, including logging, unit testing,and CI/CD processes.
5. Experience in building AI-driven or ad-tech platforms is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
2. Familiarity with generative AI technologies and their applications in ad creatives and campaign optimization.
3. Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams, including product, marketing, and design.
