We’re a high-context, no-fluff team with deep product ownership. You’ll work directly with founders and shape how 70,000+ businesses run every day.
🛠️ What You’ll Own
- Be the first QA hire — define quality culture, not just write test cases
- Start by building a manual smoke suite (10–15 critical flows), and later automate it
- Set up automation tools from scratch (Appium, Selenium, Playwright, etc.)
- Test mobile workflows deeply — Few of the modules like billing, inventory, Reports, Role based permissions, async actions, crashes etc
- Catch edge cases: multi-language, regional behavior, offline handling
- Collaborate with devs to reproduce bugs, debug logs, and resolve quickly
- Build scalable regression coverage over time — in priority order
- Shape internal QA processes and establish SOPs — no one will hand them to you
✅ What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skill
- 2–4 years in a product-based startup (must) — not a service-based or enterprise QA setup
- Strong Android mobile app testing experience — iOS is a bonus
- Built or contributed to an automation suite (even basic is okay)
- Exposure to tools like Appium, Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Playwright is a plus
- Solid manual test fundamentals — edge-case thinking, exploratory mindset
Mindset & Culture
- Fast learner and deeply curious — always exploring tools, frameworks, or tech trends
- Shows awareness or interest in AI-assisted QA (test case generation, visual diffing, script maintenance, etc.)
- Comfortable working in chaos — no fixed process, full ownership from Day 1
- Has worked in small QA setups — not shielded in large test teams
- Takes pride in uncovering impactful bugs, not just checking boxes
- Handles QA–Dev disagreements with calm logic — uses acceptance criteria, not emotion
- Thinks automation is a tool to scale judgment, especially in release crunches
Attitude & Ambition
- QA engineer who is interested to evolve into QA architect with learnings from live project
- Sees every bug as a learning opportunity
- Doesn’t wait to be told what to test — thinks like a user, acts like an owner
