Job Description

About the team: The small parts team is responsible for assembling and shipping cartridges to other internal ZF sites as well as external customers. 

 

What you can look forward to as a Production Superintendent: 

  • Lead, manage, coach, mentor and develop production unit leadership with passion to ensure that a diverse result-orientated organization is in place. Also, manages disciplinary leadership of the production unit.
  • Drives the organization in achieving operational performance/budgets, ensuring the achievement of production unit KPI targets.
  • Drives and fosters an environment of continuous improvement. Ensures that there is a long-term vision for the production unit supported by a detailed production unit roadmap following the “ZF PS Way” with a clear correlation between action and results.
  • Drives the new product launches.
  • Lead lean workshops to promote continuous improvement.
  • Maintain database of OEE and additional KPI’s for the facility and provide actions to improve focus and key cells.

 

Your profile as a Production Superintendent:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years’ solid working experience in operations and/or relevant functions.
  • 2+ years leadership experience.
  • Lean Management, Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills.
