About the Role
We are currently looking for a Lead Engineering Manager 2 to drive the development and growth of our on-demand grocery delivery platform. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing cross-functional engineering teams, shaping technical direction, and ensuring successful delivery of innovative features and scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and grow a team of software engineers to build reliable, scalable, and high-performance services.
2. Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data teams to deliver seamless customer and partner experiences.
3. Own the end-to-end execution of technical projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
4. Establish best practices for software development, architecture, and DevOps processes.
5. Mentor and develop team members through regular coaching and career planning.
6. Continuously drive improvements in engineering excellence, performance, and velocity.
7. Make strategic decisions on system architecture, tools, and technology stack.

Requirements

1. 1-5 years of overall engineering experience, with 3+ years in people management.
2. Proven experience in leading high-performing engineering teams, preferably in a fast-paced consumer tech or logistics environment.
3. Strong technical background in backend systems, distributed architecture, and APIs.
4. Experience working with real-time systems, mobile platforms, or on-demand delivery services is a plus.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
6. Passion for mentoring and helping engineers grow.
