Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in web automation testing, scripting, CI/CD integration, and modern testing frameworks. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright
- Build and execute end-to-end, regression, and smoke test suites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, Product Owners, DevOps)
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Analyze test results, debug failures, and report issues effectively
- Participate in code reviews and enforce automation best practices
- Ensure test coverage, stability, and scalability of frameworks
- Mentor junior automation engineers (where applicable)
Mandatory Skills
- Playwright – Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience (must have)
- Strong experience with Selenium or other automation tools
- Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
- Experience with Java (good understanding)
- Hands-on experience in BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber)
- Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and design patterns
- Experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Working experience with GitHub / version control systems
Qualifications

- Experience in API automation and performance testing
- Exposure to cloud-based testing environments
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology
