About the role

We are looking for a strong Python Developer with solid backend and data-handling experience and working familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) concepts. The ideal candidate is an excellent Python engineer who can collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers, integrate AI models into applications, and continuously grow their AI skillset. Deep AI expertise is not required; practical exposure and learning mindset are key.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Python-based applications and services
Build and optimize RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems
Integrate AI/ML models into production systems for inference and automation
Work with data pipelines, preprocessing, and validation for AI-driven features
Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams
Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and best practices
Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of applications
Participate in architecture and technical design discussions
Stay current with Python, backend, and AI technology trends

Qualifications

Core Python Skills

Strong proficiency in Python, including OOP concepts and data structures
Experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Solid understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous processing
Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
Familiarity with Linux systems, Git, and CI/CD pipelines

AI / ML Exposure (Working Knowledge)

Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and model lifecycle
Hands-on experience with NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn
Exposure to TensorFlow or PyTorch at an integration or basic usage level
Experience consuming AI/ML models via APIs or SDKs
