🚀 Your Mission

Transform our single‑store illustration order‑management system into a scalable multi‑store platform that unifies orders, illustrators and metrics from several Shopify shops while keeping each store fully independent.

We’re looking for a seasoned Full‑Stack Engineer to take ownership of the next evolution of our advanced illustration order‑management system. The platform integrates with Shopify yet operates independently, offering gamified incentives for illustrators, automated image recognition, and a streamlined approval‑to‑delivery workflow. Your first mission: extend the app from a single‑store setup to a scalable multi‑store architecture including a selector menu per store and a unified global view that blends orders, illustrators, and metrics across all shops.

🎯 What You’ll Tackle

• Design a multi‑tenant architecture ready to add future stores without rewriting business logic.

• Create a store selector and a global dashboard that blends data across shops.

• Build an admin panel, a designer workspace and an optimised approval‑to‑delivery workflow.

• Add gamification features (milestones, bonuses, leaderboards) to motivate illustrators.

• Integrate AWS Rekognition or Azure Computer Vision for automatic image validation.

• Connect to the Gelato API for seamless fulfilment of physical prints.

• Implement SMS & email notifications plus a pre‑delivery checklist.

• Set up CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring and logging for a stable production release.

• Apply OWASP Top 10 security practices and ensure GDPR compliance.

🛠️ Tech We Work With

• Frontend — React 18+

• Backend — Node.js (TypeScript preferred)

• Database — PostgreSQL + multi‑tenant data segregation

• External APIs — Shopify REST/GraphQL, Gelato, AWS S3 / Rekognition / SQS or Azure equivalents

• Infrastructure — AWS / Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform or CDK

• Messaging — SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka

• Development — Agile, automated unit & integration tests

• Experience with Shopify App Bridge and embedded apps

• Background in gamification mechanics

• Strong UX/UI instincts for complex dashboards

• Ownership of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
