Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Execution: Designing, developing, and maintaining comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and scripts for Zendesk Suite products, including Support, Guide, Chat, Talk, and Explore.
- Automation: Building automated test frameworks (e.g., using Selenium) for web and API applications to facilitate regression and smoke testing.
- API & Backend Testing: Validating RESTful and JSON APIs using tools like Postman or ReadyAPI.
- Configuration Testing: Testing Zendesk customizations, including workflows, triggers, automation, macros, and user roles.
- Defect Management: Identifying, logging, and tracking defects in bug tracking tools, and verifying fixes.
- Collaboration: Working with developers, stakeholders, and business analysts to translate requirements into test cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Generally 5-10 years of experience in software testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript) and automation tools (Selenium, Cucumber).
- Zendesk Knowledge: Understanding of Zendesk APIs, App Marketplace, and administration.
- Database & Tools: Experience with SQL queries, Git for version control, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
