Plan, schedule and coordinate production of the company’s products. Mainly responsible for a very small-scale plant or for part of production of an existing product portfolio. Coordinate production operations in accordance with material, labor, and equipment availability. Estimate the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production. Watch costs to ensure the production process stays within budget. Recommend viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality. Handle production disruptions and productivity problems. Effect changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.
The role requires a professional education of 4 years and a professional experience of 3 years. The role covers 5 tiers. This role represents tier 1 of 5.
Main Accountabilities:
- Manage daily operational workflows, supervise staff, ensure adhere to the policies & procedures, maintain high inventory accuracy and to be safety compliant.
- Handle SAP processes in I2O, EWM & TM modules.
- Handle the inwarding & put away processes, FIFO, production processes, material issues to the production orders, internal & external KanBan cycles, clearing COGI errors, packing processes, shipment processes, Inventory cycle count processes, monitoring the material handling equipments & domestic transportation.
- Handle the documentation required for all the processes stated.
- Handle STN’s, scrap posting & MIS reporting.
- Conduct periodic physical count process.
- Operating material handling equipment’s like forklifts, etc. and performing physical tasks as needed.
- Implementing continuous improvements by identifying opportunities to optimize warehouse layout, reduce costs, and improve workflow efficiency with better 5S management.
- Implement as much as the automation processes.
- Practical approach to solving the issues which arise in the function.
