Role Description The ZED Facilitator will support MSMEs through their Zero Defect Zero Effect (ZED) Certification journey, working closely with business owners and teams to guide them on quality, productivity, and sustainability requirements. This full-time remote role involves conducting assessments, collecting and analyzing data, preparing documentation, and coordinating with clients to ensure compliance with ZED standards and related schemes. The facilitator will help MSMEs understand eligibility criteria, application processes, and documentation needs, while providing practical guidance on improving processes and adopting best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include organizing virtual meetings and training sessions, maintaining detailed records of client progress, collaborating with internal teams on project implementation, and sharing regular updates and reports. The role also includes supporting field operations teams when needed and contributing to the continuous improvement of tools, templates, and methodologies used in ZED and MSME-focused projects.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of MSME operations, quality management concepts, and basic compliance frameworks relevant to ZED and similar schemes.
- Ability to conduct structured assessments, analyze process gaps, and prepare clear, accurate documentation and reports.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for remote collaboration, data collection, presentations, and online meetings.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical requirements in simple, practical terms.
- Organized and detail-oriented work style, with the capacity to manage multiple MSME engagements and timelines simultaneously.
- Comfort working in a remote environment, with self-motivation, accountability, and proactive follow-up with client stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, commerce, or a related field is preferred; experience in consulting, quality, or MSME support is an advantage.
- Interest in sustainability, productivity improvement, and inclusive economic growth, with a commitment to supporting MSMEs over the long term.
