Senior Software Engineer - Mobility

Zebra is seeking a talented and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our Mobility software engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge mobile applications and solutions that empower our customers to optimize their operations and workflows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, architect robust and scalable systems, and deliver high-quality software that delights our users. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop innovative mobile applications and solutions that seamlessly integrate with Zebra's ecosystem of enterprise-grade devices and software platforms - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and industry standards - Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions - Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes to ensure the quality and reliability of our software - Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to continuously improve our solutions - Mentor and guide junior engineers, share knowledge, and contribute to the overall growth and development of the team Required Skills and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in developing mobile applications, preferably using technologies such as iOS (Swift/Objective-C), Android (Java/Kotlin), or Cross-platform (React Native, Flutter) - Proficient in software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms - Strong understanding of mobile app architecture, performance optimization, and security best practices - Experience with RESTful APIs, database integration, and cloud-based services - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively - Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally - Experience with agile software development methodologies and CI/CD practices
