Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby.
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing and troubleshooting to ensure quality and performance.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
6+ years of software development experience
Advanced knowledge and extensive background working with Ruby on Rails
Solid proficiency with databases (SQL, Redis)
Skilled in managing systems that serve numerous users simultaneously and require complex data handling
Experience building and maintaining large-scale applications
Advanced English level (B2 or higher)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
This is a fully remote position open to candidates across Latin America.
