Position Summary

Yrefy is seeking an experienced Business Continuity Manager to design, implement, and manage the company’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) programs. This role is responsible for ensuring Yrefy can continue critical operations during and after disruptive events, including technology outages, vendor disruptions, cyber incidents, natural disasters, and other operational risks. The Business Continuity Manager will work cross‑functionally with Technology, Lender and Investor Operations, Compliance, Risk, HR, Legal, and third‑party vendors to ensure preparedness, testing, and continuous improvement aligned with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Yrefy’s Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
  • Conduct Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to identify critical functions, recovery time objectives (RTOs), and recovery point objectives (RPOs).
  • Ensure continuity plans address operational, technology, data, workforce, and third‑party dependencies.
  • Maintain crisis management and incident response playbooks.

Testing & Exercises

  • Plan, execute, and document BCP and DR tests, tabletop exercises, and simulations.
  • Track test results, remediation actions, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Report readiness metrics and testing outcomes to senior management.

Vendor & Third‑Party Resilience

  • Partner with Engineering and Operations teams to assess third‑party business continuity and resilience controls.
  • Review vendor BCP/DR documentation and support due diligence efforts.
  • Identify concentration risks and dependency risks related to critical vendors.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure BCM program alignment with applicable regulatory expectations, client requirements, and contractual obligations.
  • Support audits, exams, and assessments related to business continuity, operational resilience, and disaster recovery.
  • Maintain policies, standards, and procedures related to BCM.

Training & Awareness

  • Develop and deliver business continuity training for employees and leadership.
  • Promote organization‑wide awareness of preparedness roles and responsibilities.

Incident Management Support

  • Support real‑time incident response and recovery efforts during disruptive events.
  • Coordinate with leadership, technology teams, and external partners during incidents.
  • Lead post‑incident reviews and lessons‑learned activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Operational Risk/Resilience.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting BIAs, plan development, and recovery testing.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk, vendor risk, and regulatory expectations in financial services.
  • Preferred experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated lending environments
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 22301, NIST, or FFIEC guidance.
  • Prefer a professional certification such as: CBCP, CBCI, or AMBCI, CRISC, CISM, or similar risk/continuity credentials
  • Experience working with cloud‑based and third‑party technology environments.
