Role Description The YouTube Video Editor (Tamil) will be responsible for editing and assembling video content for Moka Vlog, with a focus on Tamil-language educational and informational videos. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Erode, involving close collaboration with the content creator to understand video concepts, structure, and narrative flow. Day-to-day tasks include cutting and arranging footage, syncing audio, adding text overlays and graphics, applying transitions and effects, and ensuring videos meet YouTube guidelines and channel branding. The Video Editor will also assist in optimizing videos for audience engagement, such as creating compelling thumbnails, adjusting pacing, and preparing final files for upload. The role requires consistent communication, attention to detail, and a strong interest in technology and science-related topics.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Video Editing and Video Production skills, including proficiency with common editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent).
- Candidates should possess YouTube-related skills, such as understanding YouTube video formats, basic analytics, thumbnails, and audience engagement best practices.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Marketing skills to collaborate on scripts, understand target audiences, and contribute to content that supports channel growth.
- Fluency in spoken and written Tamil, with the ability to edit content that is culturally relevant and linguistically accurate.
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, timing, and sound design, with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work on-site in Erode, manage deadlines, and handle multiple video projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience editing content for YouTube channels or social media platforms is preferred.
- A passion for Technology, Science, and educational content creation is highly beneficial.
