Role Description This is a full-time, on-site YouTube Strategist role based in New Delhi. The YouTube Strategist will plan and execute the overall content strategy for Ezyschooling’s YouTube channel, aligning topics and formats with audience needs, brand positioning, and growth targets. Daily responsibilities include researching education-related topics, developing content calendars, briefing writers and video editors, and optimizing scripts and thumbnails for engagement and watch time. The role involves managing uploads, playlists, titles, tags, and descriptions using YouTube SEO best practices, while monitoring analytics to improve click-through rates, retention, and subscriber growth. The YouTube Strategist will also collaborate with marketing, counseling, and product teams for campaign integration, manage cross-promotion on other digital channels, and experiment with new content formats such as shorts, live sessions, and webinars.
Qualifications
- Strong YouTube channel management skills, including content planning, publishing workflows, and playlist organization.
- Proficiency in YouTube SEO and analytics, including keyword research, tags, titles, A/B testing, and interpreting metrics such as CTR, retention, and audience demographics.
- Content development capabilities, including scriptwriting or script supervision, storytelling, and adapting educational topics into engaging video formats.
- Basic understanding of video production processes, including working with editors, designers, and creators on visuals, thumbnails, and sound.
- Digital marketing knowledge, including social media promotion, audience growth tactics, and integration of YouTube with broader campaigns.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; comfort communicating with cross-functional teams and external creators or partners.
- Strong research skills and ability to understand parent and student needs in the K–12 education space.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data insights into clear content and growth experiments.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Education, or a related field,
