Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Hyderabad for a YouTube Manager with 3 years of experience. The role involves reporting, writing, and producing multimedia news stories for digital platforms. Tasks include conducting interviews, gathering information, writing scripts, creating multimedia content, and delivering accurate and engaging news reports. The Multimedia Journalist will work closely with editors and production teams to ensure high-quality storytelling that aligns with the organization's vision.
- 3 years of experience managing YouTube channels or digital video content, preferably in Tamil media.
- Plan and execute YouTube content strategy to grow subscribers, watch time, and revenue.
- Manage end-to-end video production including ideation, scripting, coordination, publishing, and scheduling.
- Basic video editing skills required, including creating rough cuts and working with editors for final output.
- Strong understanding of Tamil audience interests (politics, Kollywood, sports, and trending topics).
- Optimize videos for YouTube SEO (titles, thumbnails, descriptions) and track analytics to improve performance.
- Collaborate with editorial, video, and design teams to deliver engaging and monetizable video content.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced digital newsroom and handle multiple projects.
