Key Responsibilities
- Plan and upload 2 Shorts daily (morning and evening), ensuring content meets retention benchmarks of STR above 80% and APV above 100%, while coordinating with the editing team to schedule content 1-2 weeks in advance.
- Regularly review performance metrics like STR and APV to identify patterns of success and implement strategies to enhance content retention and audience engagement.
- Conduct research on top-performing channels and videos in the kids’ content space to identify trends, and incorporate at least 2 actionable insights into the content pipeline each month.
- Develop a monthly creative calendar highlighting major kids' events and themes, aligning the content pipeline with seasonal opportunities to maximize relevance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of the content pipeline and identify opportunities to improve workflows and reduce manual intervention.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years in YouTube channel management, content strategy, or a similar role, preferably in kids' or educational content.
- Skills:
- Deep understanding of YouTube performance metrics, including STR (Swipe-to-View Ratio) and APV (Average Percentage Viewed).
- Proven ability to analyze performance data and implement improvements to drive retention and engagement.
- Strong research skills to identify trends and opportunities in the market.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with creative and production teams.
- Mindset: Data-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive in optimizing content strategies for growth.
