Role Description The YouTube Manager/Associate role is a full-time, remote position responsible for managing and growing Guidely’s YouTube presence. This role includes planning content calendars, coordinating video production, and collaborating with subject matter experts to develop engaging educational content. The YouTube Manager/Associate will oversee video editing, optimize titles, thumbnails, and metadata for discoverability, and ensure consistent branding across all videos. Daily tasks also involve monitoring channel analytics, improving audience engagement through comments and community posts, and aligning YouTube content with broader marketing and campaign goals. The role requires close coordination with the marketing and content teams to support key exam seasons, product launches, and learner initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing for educational or informational content.
- Hands-on experience with YouTube channel management, including SEO, analytics, and content optimization.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and engaging with the online community.
- Understanding of Marketing principles, especially digital and social media marketing in the education sector.
- Ability to plan and manage content calendars, meet deadlines, and work independently in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with competitive exam preparation or the edtech domain is an advantage.
- Proficiency with video editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software).
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
