🎯 The Role
We are seeking an experienced Medical Information Manager to lead medical information services, scientific communications, and healthcare information management initiatives. The ideal candidate will oversee medical inquiries, literature reviews, response development, content management, and compliance processes while ensuring the delivery of accurate, balanced, and evidence-based medical information.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement medical information strategies, processes, and service standards aligned with organizational objectives, healthcare regulations, and scientific communication requirements
• Manage medical information operations including healthcare professional inquiries, patient information requests, scientific response development, literature searches, and medical content review
• Develop, review, and maintain standardized medical information documents, response letters, frequently asked questions (FAQs), product information resources, and scientific communication materials
• Collaborate with medical affairs, clinical research, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, quality assurance, compliance, commercial, customer support, and executive teams to ensure accurate medical communications
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including inquiry response times, response quality, customer satisfaction, content utilization, compliance metrics, and service performance
• Conduct scientific literature reviews, evidence assessments, clinical data analysis, and medical research evaluations to support accurate and relevant information responses
• Ensure all medical information activities comply with healthcare regulations, promotional guidelines, pharmacovigilance requirements, data privacy standards, and internal governance policies
• Support medical affairs and regulatory teams with scientific content development, publication reviews, clinical data summaries, and healthcare communication initiatives
• Manage medical information databases, knowledge repositories, content lifecycle processes, and document governance frameworks to ensure information accuracy and accessibility
• Analyze medical information trends, stakeholder feedback, inquiry patterns, and emerging scientific developments to identify opportunities for service improvement and knowledge enhancement
• Utilize Medical Information Systems, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, Document Management Systems (DMS), Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS), Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and analytics tools to manage medical information operations and reporting
• Prepare medical information reports, inquiry trend analyses, compliance dashboards, executive summaries, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
• Lead, mentor, and develop medical information specialists, scientific writers, and cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of scientific accuracy, compliance, collaboration, and continuous improvement
✅ Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, Healthcare, or a related field preferred
• Advanced clinical qualifications such as Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), PhD in Life Sciences, or equivalent are highly advantageous
• 5+ years of experience in medical information, medical affairs, clinical research, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or related scientific roles
• 2+ years of experience managing medical information services, scientific communication teams, or healthcare information programs preferred
• Strong understanding of medical information principles, evidence-based medicine, clinical research, scientific literature evaluation, healthcare regulations, and medical communication standards
• Experience with Medical Information Systems, CRM platforms, DMS solutions, CTMS platforms, clinical databases, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and healthcare analytics tools
• Familiarity with pharmacovigilance processes, regulatory submissions, medical writing, publications, real-world evidence (RWE), digital health platforms, and healthcare compliance requirements is advantageous
• Strong scientific, analytical, organizational, writing, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, scientific writing, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
• Ability to interpret complex medical and scientific data and communicate information clearly to healthcare professionals, patients, and business stakeholders
• Ability to work independently in remote and hybrid healthcare environments
