Role Description The Youth Program Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore. This role involves designing, organizing, and managing youth-focused learning programs that align with YUGA’s personalized and hands-on approach. The coordinator will oversee daily program operations, facilitate sessions and workshops, and provide mentoring and guidance to teens and young adults. Responsibilities include communicating with students and families, tracking participant progress, and ensuring that activities support both skill development and personal growth. The role also requires collaboration with instructors and partners, continuous improvement of program content, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants.
Qualifications
- Experience in youth programs and youth development, with a strong understanding of the needs of teens and young adults.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage diverse groups and build trust with participants and families.
- Program management skills, including planning, organizing, and evaluating youth initiatives or educational activities.
- Background in youth mentoring, coaching, or guidance, with a commitment to fostering personal growth and responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, social work, youth development, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Indore, maintain a consistent full-time schedule, and collaborate effectively within a small, mission-driven team.
- Demonstrated ability to design engaging activities, manage groups, and respond constructively to challenges and conflicts.
- Experience with project-based learning, experiential education, or alternative education models is an advantage.
