Role Description The Youth Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat, responsible for overseeing and coordinating youth-focused activities and programs. This role involves planning and implementing youth programs, facilitating group sessions, and providing guidance and support to young participants. The Youth Lead will manage daily operations related to youth work, maintain program schedules, and ensure activities are safe, engaging, and aligned with organizational goals. The position includes collaborating with colleagues, community partners, and families, as well as documenting program outcomes and preparing basic reports. The Youth Lead is expected to act as a role model, promote positive behavior, and contribute to a supportive environment for all youth.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Youth Leadership, Youth Programs, and Youth Work to effectively guide and support young people.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact with youth, families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Candidates should possess Social Work skills or experience in community-based work to address diverse youth needs.
- Candidates should have experience in planning, organizing, and facilitating group activities or workshops.
- Candidates should demonstrate empathy, patience, and the ability to build trust with young people from varied backgrounds.
- Candidates should have a relevant educational background in social work, psychology, education, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Candidates should be able to work on-site in Surat, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate records of youth engagements and program outcomes.
