This is mentorship, advocacy, empowerment, and genuine human connection.<br><br> </div><div>We are looking for compassionate, dependable, and motivated individuals who want to make a lasting impact while maintaining a healthy work-life balance in a supportive and encouraging environment.<br><br> </div><div>Why YEP?<br><br> </div><ul> <li> Supportive leadership team with hands-on guidance </li> <li> Flexible scheduling and strong work-life balance </li> <li> Person-centered and trauma-informed approach </li> <li> Team-focused environment where your voice matters </li> <li> Opportunities for professional growth and development </li> <li> Focus on relationship-building and individualized support </li> <li> Leadership that values and supports staff </li> </ul><div>About the Role<br><br> </div><ul> <li> Provide meaningful support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities </li> <li> Help individuals build independence, confidence, communication skills, and life skills </li> <li> Create positive experiences through mentorship, encouragement, and advocacy </li> <li> Work in an environment where leadership genuinely supports staff success </li> </ul><div>What You’ll Do<br><br> </div><ul> <li> Support individuals in home and community settings </li> <li> Assist with cooking, cleaning, hygiene support, organization, and medication reminders </li> <li> Encourage participation in social and community activities </li> <li> Support personal goal achievement and independence-building </li> <li> Build positive relationships with families and team members </li> <li> Complete case notes and clock in/out using AxisCare </li> <li> Maintain accurate documentation </li> <li> Promote a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment </li> </ul><div>Requirements<br><br> </div><ul> <li> High school diploma or equivalent preferred </li> <li> Experience in caregiving or direct support is a plus </li> <li> Strong communication and interpersonal skills </li> <li> Ability to work independently and as part of a team </li> <li> Must be willing and comfortable transporting individuals in your personal vehicle </li> <li> Mileage reimbursement provided when using your vehicle for approved transportation </li> <li> Must complete required background clearances </li> <li> Valid driver’s license required </li> <li> Current registration, inspection, and auto insurance required </li> <li> Willingness to learn and grow within the role </li> </ul><div>Training & Orientation<br><br> </div><div>We offer flexible orientation options, including self-directed training and/or paid in-person orientation sessions.<br><br> </div><div>ODP trainings may be completed during orientation or independently.
