About the Yopa Engineering Team YOPA's engineering team delivers cutting edge technology solutions which allow the company/business to handle more transactions, scale up and remain competitive. Each of us are not afraid of using new technologies and have the freedom to do so. We proudly take ownership of the solutions and applications that we deliver to our customers. We follow Lean principles where we push things fast to the market, measure it, seek perfection and the cycle continues. All of Yopa's engineers are polyglot engineers, we're comfortable with different programming languages and we are proud of our DevOps and Agile culture. Responsibility: Working closely with Developers/QAs to optimise their process Liaising with IT support regarding cloud based queries Improving continuous integration and delivery pipeline via Jenkins Help tune performance and ensure the high availability of our infrastructure Maintain several environments (Production, Staging, Development) and also their subsequent dependencies Optimising containers and maintaining docker cluster on various environments Maintain/improve disaster recovery Manage and deploy configuration changes utilising aforementioned orchestration tooling Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions Maintain APM, security compliance tools Code your infrastructure STIG, fuzz testing, vulnerability scanning Automating OWASP top 10 testing Incident handling with legal department and e-forensic partner Maintaining security risk document and improve security posture overtime Key skills: Amazon AWS knowledge. We use RDS, CloudWatch, ElasticCache, IAM, Lambda, VPC, S3, Route 53, Certificate Management, IDS/IPS, Application Firewall The ability to solutionise problems Proficient in Terraform Good understanding and experience in firewall (iptables, ufw) and more importantly security groups Comfortable with different kinds of databases (MySQL, Postgres, etc), NoSQL, Redis and their security Proficiency in shell or any other operational scripts Strong knowledge of technology and security topics and practices (application security, infrastructure hardening) Load balancer knowledge: via ALB, Nginx Docker experience in production AWS CLI, Bash Good knowledge in VPN (OpenVPN) Experience with CI/CD Pipeline (Jenkins (extra value for prior knowledge of Jenkinsfiles), TeamCity)
