Responsible for coordinating with the school community to create a school that serves as a resource for the community at large and engages the community in the growth of the school. The Community School Director, the school principal and the School Site Council are partners in the integration and coordination of all school- and partner-provided services and programs towards a common goal of improving student success. Demonstrates a commitment to the YMCA of Greater Boston’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Locations: BPS Frederick School
Note – As Schools are beginning both a hybrid/remote start of the school year, this position will be working with Community Learning Centers (location (s) tbd)) until the final schools will be determined. The main goal in the interim is to identify needs of youth/families and connect available resources.
