Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to operate machinery and equipment in the WARPING department by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sets-up and operates creels machinery to process yarn and make yarn beams according to work schedule and customer specifications (Creels, Warping Machines.)

Performs quality Inspections and troubleshoots and repair problems as required (i.e. machine stoppage, yarn defects, yarn breakage, etc.).

Packs/Wraps finished beams according to specifications and place label. (Uses computer terminal and scan guns). Doff finished beams and place in staging area.

Comply with, TapeCraft’s Environmental, Quality, Health, Safety & 5S objectives, polices & programs, and relevant procedures.

Performs other position-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
