Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to Operate CD machines to process narrow fabric by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Weigh dye, set temperature, sew in goods, change boxes, locate finished goods, clean dry cans, re-pin or change number of ends, and fix breakouts.

Fill wash boxes, set controls, cut out roll ups, check all QC functions, get out folds, get out twists, and pulls mat.

Put ends back on rollers, sweep and clean up from entry to exit, pull and re-file master file.

Check tape width before and after processing. Fill out production sheets, quality approval sheets, and check lists.

Keep dye house clean after using chemicals and dyes. Pack boxes

Comply with TapeCraft’s Environmental, Quality, Health, Safety & 5S objectives, polices & programs, and relevant procedures.

Performs other position-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
