About the role

Position Summary:      

Research Lab Assistant in a busy biology lab in an undergraduate college, with a focus on training undergraduate students in lab techniques. Work is in the field of cell and reproductive biology, and protein posttranslational modifications.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assistance in running experiments and maintaining the lab
  • The position focuses on involving undergraduate students in experiments, training them in cell and molecular biology techniques, and explaining research topics

Experience & Educational Background:

  • Master's Degree in Natural Sciences
  • Experience in cell and molecular biology laboratory techniques is required
  • Experience in reproductive biology and teaching undergraduate students in the laboratory is a plus

Skills & Competencies:

  • Good writing and communication skills, as well as basic computer skills, are required
