English teaching roles (temp-to-perm) – Utsunomiya – visa support available

Change lives for young learners as an i Kids Star or Kids Duo teacher in Utsunomiya! We are currently recruiting candidates under a temp-to-perm arrangement. Successful applicants will begin as YARUKI Switch Career teachers, dispatched to an i Kids Star or Kids Duo franchise school in Utsunomiya. After approximately three months, including training, teachers will transition to direct employment with the franchise school. This arrangement allows YARUKI Switch Career to provide initial logistical support, helping teachers smoothly transition to the franchise school. Depending on individual needs, this may include assistance with visa sponsorship or housing arrangements. Once established with the franchise school, that school will provide ongoing support, including visa renewals. Kids Duo and i Kids Star operate both directly managed and franchise locations. Directly managed schools are owned and operated by YARUKI Switch Group, while franchise locations are independently owned and operated under agreement with YARUKI Switch Group. Our curriculum, based on U.S. and U.K. early education standards, covers phonics, math, arts, drama, and more, with a focus on physical education developed by our sister school, Ninja 9. At i Kids Star, we help children express themselves bilingually, develop cultural awareness, and grow into confident, independent learners. ◆ About Kids Duo Kids Duo focuses on fostering students' confidence and abilities in English through interactive games and activities. Our motto is "Play in English, learn in English." We create fun, safe, and comfortable environments where our students learn real, usable English. Kids Duo teachers lead large and small groups of students (ages three to 12) in a variety of highly active games and activities. This includes arts and crafts, music and dance, social studies, outdoor programs, and more. ◆ Job requirements ・Have native-level English proficiency* ・Have at least a two-year associate degree or valid working visa ・Are independent and creatively minded, ready to innovate and adapt in any circumstance ・Can be team-oriented, passionate, enthusiastic, and creative in your approach to teaching children ・Have a strong sense of professionalism and are self-motivated ・Prior experience with children (teaching or otherwise) is preferred *Our curriculum puts emphasis on pronunciation and phonics practice. While we, of course, welcome English speakers from a variety of countries with varying dialects and accents, we ask that you are able to effectively teach and express these concepts in a phonetically natural English environment.
