As we continue to expand our global footprint, we are looking for talented Yardi Investment Management Consultants who can bridge the gap between business and technology while helping clients streamline fund accounting, investor management, and investment operations.
Role Overview
As a Yardi Investment Management Consultant, you will work closely with global clients to support, optimize, and enhance their Yardi Investment Management platform. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients manage investment structures, investor reporting, fund accounting processes, capital events, and operational workflows while ensuring maximum value from their Yardi ecosystem. This role requires a strong blend of functional consulting, client engagement, business process analysis, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Consulting
- Serve as a functional consultant and trusted advisor for Yardi Investment Management clients.
- Understand client business processes, investment structures, and operational requirements.
- Recommend best practices and optimized solutions using Yardi Investment Management.
- Conduct discovery sessions, requirement gathering, and solution workshops.
Application Support & Helpdesk
- Provide functional support for Yardi Investment Management modules.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve client issues within agreed SLAs.
- Manage support tickets, incidents, service requests, and enhancement requests.
- Perform root cause analysis and document resolutions.
Investment & Fund Operations Support
- Support investment lifecycle processes including:
- Investor onboarding
- Roll ups / Consolidations
- Capital calls
- Distributions
- Commitments
- Fund accounting
- Waterfall calculations
- Investor reporting
- Assist clients in managing complex ownership and entity structures.
System Configuration & Optimization
- Configure and maintain Yardi Investment Management functionality.
- Assist clients with system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Support UAT, deployment activities, and post-production stabilization.
- Identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Reporting & Data Analysis
- Support financial and investor reporting requirements.
- Work with reporting tools and dashboards to provide meaningful business insights.
- Validate data integrity and ensure reporting accuracy.
Documentation & Training
- Create functional specifications, process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
- Conduct user training sessions and knowledge transfer workshops.
- Support client adoption and change management initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
Functional Expertise
- 3–6 years of experience working with Yardi solutions, preferably Yardi Investment Management.
- Strong understanding of:
- Real Estate Investment Management
- Fund Accounting
- Investor Accounting
- Capital Transactions
- Asset Management Operations
- Understanding of investment fund structures and ownership hierarchies.
Support & Consulting Experience
- Experience supporting global clients in a consulting or managed services environment.
- Strong client-facing communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage client interactions and issue resolution.
Financial Knowledge
- Knowledge of:
- Private Equity Real Estate Funds
- Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs)
- Joint Ventures
- Investor Reporting
- Capital Calls & Distributions
- Waterfall Structures
- Understanding of financial statements and investment reporting.
Technical Awareness
- Familiarity with:
- Yardi Investment Management
- Yardi Voyager
- Excel Advanced Functions
- Power BI (preferred)
- Data analysis and reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Yardi Investment Management implementation or support projects.
- Exposure to real estate investment firms, fund managers, private equity firms, or REITs.
- Experience with investor portals and reporting solutions.
- Knowledge of financial modeling and investment analytics is an added advantage.
- Relevant accounting or finance qualifications will be preferred.
