Join our team as a Behavior Analyst I (BCBA) at Children's Village in Yakima, Washington.
This position provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, designing and implementing individual treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. Directs and supports the professional development of the Certified Behavior Technicians and Licensed Assistant Behavior Analyst positions through applied training and evaluation. Provides assessment and treatment to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities.
This position is located on-site at Children's Village in Yakima, Washington, which provides care to children with special health and developmental needs. Relocation allowance is available.

What You’ll Do:
Completes the analysis with information from the intake assessment and develops an initial behavior change plan under the direction of a Behavior Analyst II
Identifies and documents indirect and direct data on target behaviors and analyzes collection results to determine function of the target behaviors
Develops a Behavior Reduction Protocol to decrease target behaviors based on the FBA
Develops and implements individualized programs to create alternative behaviors based on the Behavior Reduction Protocol
Creates individualized goals based on Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS) or Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) with the guidance of the Behavior Analyst II
Develops objectives based on specific programs that were specified in the initial intake and initial behavior change plan in conjunction with the Behavior Analyst II
Develops Long Term Objective (LTO) sheets with specifics of program implementation and criteria
Measures client’s progress and adjusts programs as needed
Participates in various community meetings to develop cross-system planning and/or collaborate with treatment professionals
Provides individualized direct services and parent training under the guidance of a Behavior Analyst II. Provides appropriate interventions that can be completed within the school setting
Completes all Behavioral Health Services (BHS) and/or funder required documentation
Performs clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and YVFWC requirements
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Analysis, Developmental Psychology, or Special Education
Enrollment in a Master’s Degree program in a behavioral field
Two years' experience working with individuals with ASD and/ or developmental disabilities is preferred
Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst certification (BCABA) or Assistant Behavior Analyst (ABA) license
BLS certification within 45 days of hire
Right Response certification within 6 months of hire
FBI fingerprints required can be obtained within 45 days of hire
