[TW EC] 2025 Intern - AI & Generative Technologies Researcher

This internship offers the potential to transition into a permanent role, contingent on your impact and contributions during your time with us. You'll actively engage with diverse departments, deeply understand their workflows, pinpoint operational improvement areas, and champion AI solutions that significantly boost efficiency and effectiveness throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

• AI Adoption Strategy: Help develop and lead the implementation of strategic plans for embedding AI into TWEC’s operational workflows and culture. Serve as an internal advocate, influencing teams to embrace AI-driven innovation.
• Research & Insights: Conduct thorough research on emerging AI methodologies, academic advancements, and industry trends. Present clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations to team leaders and stakeholders.
• AI Agent Experimentation & Application: Proactively explore, test, and evaluate the latest AI models, APIs, and autonomous agents (including large language models, multimodal AI, specialized AI platforms, code-generation tools, and autonomous task execution frameworks). Identify their capabilities, limitations, and potential for impactful integration into our business workflows.
• Collaboration & Data Support: Work closely with data scientists and engineers in data preparation, cleaning, and annotation for AI model training, ensuring high-quality datasets for optimal AI performance.
• Documentation & Communication: Document experiments, learnings, and best practices meticulously. Share knowledge effectively across teams, driving clarity and confidence in adopting new AI tool

Qualifications & Skills:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated passion for AI with significant hands-on experience as an active user of various cutting-edge AI tools and agents (e.g., LLMs like GPT, multimodal AI tools, agent frameworks, and AI-driven development environments).
• Solid understanding of core AI/ML concepts (neural networks, NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning basics).
• Familiarity with Python or AI libraries/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, etc.).
• Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills; mature, influential, and capable of clearly articulating complex technical ideas to diverse audiences.
• Proactive, self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset—comfortable navigating ambiguity, identifying opportunities, and driving change.
• Residing in Taiwan during the summer with legal authorization to work; immigration sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Eligible to work between the months of July and August 2025 on a full-time basis / 40 hours a week.
