Job Overview Ya YA Foods: 

 

Reports to: Production Manager

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Provide stakeholders reliable information, communications, reporting and management updates
  • Collaborate directly with departments to optimize schedule accomplishment
  • Ensure all Plant operations and business is conducted in a safe and controlled environment
  • Ensure compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP. Develop, participate, and lead process improvement projects
  • Utilize technical skills and relevant experience to identify/solve problems and recommends/implements operating efficiencies
  • Identify, align, and provide input to operational excellence practices
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure employee issues or concerns are correctly addressed and resolved
  • Conduct timely root cause analysis and enforce improvements to process controls  
  • Align and implement reliability processes foundational to operations
  • Develop and execute plans on a weekly and monthly basis to achieve cost efficient and accurate processes.
  • Develop, participate, and lead process improvement projects.            

 

 

Requirement:

   

  • Must be flexible in adjusting to shifting priorities, handling various tasks, and working non-traditional hours if required.
  • Must be mechanically inclined 
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force at times and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body
  • Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F—80F degrees)
  • Strong skills in written communications, oral communications, analytical skills, organizational skills, and balanced decision-making skills required to manage projects 
  • Strong leadership skills and prior experience with managing large teams is required.
  • Prior experience (preferred)
