Job Summary

Y2Z Travel is looking for a dynamic, creative, and strategic Social Media Manager to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our social media presence across various platforms, creating engaging content, and driving brand awareness. This role is vital in shaping our online voice and ensuring a consistent brand message across all channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy

 

• Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy to align with business goals.

• Set specific objectives and report on ROI.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.

 

2. Content Creation & Curation

 

• Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written, and audio/podcast).

• Develop creative and engaging social media content to increase followers, engagement, and overall brand awareness.

• Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, and content writers to produce high-quality content.

 

3. Community Engagement

 

• Manage and engage with our online community on all social media platforms, including responding to comments, messages, and user queries in a timely manner.

• Build and manage influencer relationships and collaborations to enhance brand visibility.

 

4. Performance Analysis

 

• Monitor, track, analyze, and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, etc.

• Analyze competitor activity and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

• Conduct regular audience research and social listening to inform content strategy.

 

5. Campaign Management

 

• Plan and execute social media campaigns, including paid advertising.

• Monitor campaigns, optimize content, and ensure they meet performance goals.

• Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.

 

6. Brand Consistency

 

• Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology across all social media platforms.

• Act as a brand ambassador on all social media platforms, representing the company’s values and mission.

 

7. Collaboration

 

• Work closely with other departments (e.g., Content, Sales, Product Development) to coordinate campaigns and strategies.

• Provide insights on trending topics and potential opportunities for the brand.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

1. Educational Background

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

 

2. Experience

 

• 2+ years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.

• Proven experience in creating, managing, and executing successful social media campaigns.

• Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).

 

3. Skills

 

• Strong copywriting and content creation skills.

• Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media best practices.

• Strong understanding of SEO, web traffic metrics, and social media KPIs.

• Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

• Creative thinker with an ability to think outside the box.

• Strong analytical and multitasking skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

 

4. Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with content creation tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

• Basic knowledge of photography, videography, and editing tools.

• Familiarity with web design and publishing.
