The Role:
Your Mission: As our next Epic Revenue Applications Manager, you will serve as a key contributor to our mission of operational excellence. Reporting to the Director of Business Applications, you will apply your expertise to solve complex challenges and provide high-quality support to our users and clients across onsite, remote, or collaborative environments.
The Applications Manager oversees an application team’s strategic direction and management at Xtensys. This role involves leveraging expertise in Epic applications to optimize workflows, improve patient care, and manage complex projects. The manager will lead a high-performing team, foster client and vendor relationships, and effectively manage change initiatives to align with organizational goals.

• Lead a high-performing team, foster relationships with vendors, and effectively manage change initiatives to align with organizational goals
• Oversee the strategic direction and management of the application team
• Lead a high-performing team of professionals to manage day-to-day operations and solution delivery
• Manage complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to timelines and budgets
• Foster strong relationships with other Xtensys leaders, customers, and third-party vendors to maximize the value of investments
• Effectively manage change initiatives, minimizing disruption and maximizing adoption
• Responsible for all applications under their leadership
• Partner with connect program manager to assist in connect program development
Who You Are & What You’ll Bring
Proven Track Record:
• (5) years of progressive experience in IS or Informatics project, product, and solution delivery
• (2) years of progressive leadership experience within healthcare IT or Informatics
• Proven track record of contributing to at least one full Epic implementation lifecycle, including design, build, testing, and go-live support.
• Demonstrated success leading the design, development, configuration, support, and adoption of medium to large-scale solutions
• Demonstrated success in influencing and supporting operational partners with organizational change management
• Demonstrated success in leading the improvement of platforms, standards, and processes
• Demonstrated success managing projects within budget, vendors, partners, and/or managed services
• Ownership & Initiative: Proactively takes ownership of work, drives tasks forward, and ensures follow-through.
• Decision-Making: Analyzes problems, gathers insights, and collaborates to make informed decisions.
• Results-Driven: Sets and achieves ambitious goals, both individually and as part of a team.

Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare information technology, Business, Health Administration, Engineering, or related field is preferred. One of the following certifications IS REQUIRED -- Epic Professional Billing, Hospital Billing or HIM certification.
Technical Savvy: Proven experience in leveraging knowledge of Epic Foundation and Epic applications to optimize workflows and improve patient care
Communication: An ability to translate "tech-speak" into helpful, clear solutions for non-technical users.
Travel Requirements: Up to 25 % for implementations, Go-lives’, upgrades, etc.
Physical Readiness: Capability for sedentary work, including sitting for long periods and occasionally exerting up to 10 pounds of force.
