Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an X-ray Technologist located in Pune District. The X-ray Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety by adhering to radiation safety protocols, collaborating with medical staff to acquire accurate images for patient diagnoses, and maintaining imaging equipment. Additional responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, explaining processes, and documenting results with accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Certification or eligibility for certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Proficiency in Radiation Safety practices to ensure patient and staff protection
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in Radiologic Technology and Radiology
- Understanding of medical terminologies and basic principles of Medicine related to diagnostic imaging
- Strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a commitment to providing quality patient care
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals in a busy, on-site setting
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus
- Completion of an accredited training program in Radiologic Technology
