The Opportunity
At XQ, storytelling isn't a tactic—it's how we move people. We're looking for a Social Media Manager who believes in the power of narrative to drive change. You understand that social media aren't just channels to manage, they're some of the most important tools we have to connect with our audiences, build community, and advance our mission to reimagine high school in America.
You'll own XQ's social presence, bringing creative vision, strategic thinking, and editorial rigor to our social platforms while translating organizational priorities into impactful channel strategy. Whether you're crafting a post, cutting a social video, or developing a collaboration with a partner or influencer, you'll treat every post or campaign as a true extension of our brand and a meaningful opportunity to deepen our relationship with our audiences. You will write the posts, manage the accounts, and maintain the standard of excellence our brand demands. This is not a role where execution gets handed off.
You'll be a core member of XQ's Content and Communications team, working closely with colleagues across the organization to surface stories and bring them to life. This is a collaborative, creative environment where good ideas are welcomed from everywhere—and where the work you do every day connects directly to our mission.
This role is right for someone with real experience and proven ownership who's ready to lead XQ's social presence as its primary architect and executor.
