Senior Typescript and React Engineer

We’re seeking a highly skilled frontend engineer with deep expertise in React and PixiJS to modernize a complex, interactive editor. You will lead the transformation of a traditional canvas-based rendering system into a high-performance, declarative architecture using React-Pixi. This role demands strong technical vision, exceptional problem-solving, and a keen eye for detail in delivering fluid, real-time interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architectural Redesign: Migrate imperative canvas drawing logic to a React-Pixi setup, ensuring a more maintainable and scalable rendering pipeline.
• Complex UI Integration: Implement sophisticated interactions—panning, zooming, multi-node selection, dynamic highlighting—while preserving performance and responsiveness.
• Real-Time Visualization: Drive event-based updates so that user actions and external signals seamlessly trigger visual changes, animations, and highlights without delays.
• Performance Optimization: Profile, diagnose, and refine rendering paths to handle large, intricate node graphs at high frame rates.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Clearly document the new architecture, share best practices, and work closely with the core team to integrate changes smoothly and effectively.

Qualifications:

• Technical Mastery: 5+ years of frontend experience with advanced React knowledge and typescript knowledge.
• Complex Interaction Patterns: Demonstrated ability to handle real-time updates, custom hit-testing, and complex event-driven animations.
• Performance Focus: Track record of performance tuning and optimizations in data-heavy, visually complex environments.
• Clear Communication: Strong documentation skills and the ability to explain technical decisions with clarity and confidence.
