Description

We are seeking an experienced Sitefinity Developer with 3- 6 years of hands-on experience in managing and enhancing enterprise websites using Sitefinity CMS. The role involves end-to-end content management, CMS operations, workflow execution, SEO hygiene, performance optimization, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployments with zero post-live defects.

Key Responsibilities

Sitefinity CMS Development & Content Management :

• Manage regular content updates in Sitefinity CMS, including page creation and edits, template usage, asset uploads (PDFs, images, banners), and shared content blocks.
• Perform basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and XML updates to support UI and functional requirements.
• Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand and compliance guidelines.
  
  

Deployment & Sync Management

• Execute the complete Unidesk ? UAT & CUG ? IT/Business approval ? Live sync workflow.
• Prepare and maintain sync lists, follow defined sync schedules, and ensure makerchecker compliance.
• Coordinate approvals and deployments with DBAT, IT, and Business stakeholders.
• Perform DR/PR validation post-deployment to ensure business continuity.
  
  

SEO, Performance & Quality Assurance

• Maintain SEO hygiene including metadata, tagging, URL structures, and internal linking.
• Conduct regular link checks to avoid 404 errors and broken references.
• Optimize images and assets for performance and faster page load times.
• Ensure all checklist parameters are met before UAT, CUG, and Live releases.
• Issue Management & Coordination
• Identify and escalate CMS, backend, or UI issues to respective Idealake / IT / UI leads.
• Proactively communicate release status, risks, and issues with the Website and Business teams.
• Support root cause analysis and resolution of post-deployment issues, ensuring zero defects post go-live.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 3- 6 years of hands-on experience working with Sitefinity CMS.
• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic XML.
• Good understanding of SEO best practices, web accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Experience with FTP uploads, asset management, and CMS-driven websites.
• Familiarity with Unidesk workflow, content sync processes, and DR/PR validation.
• Strong attention to detail, process-oriented mindset, and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams.
