Summary:

Efficiently and accurately calculate qualifying ratios, recognize and comment on common red flags or potential issues in compliance with all documented departmental Policy and Procedures.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for inputting or updating all loan data and information used by the QA/QC Auditor, into the Quality Control system.
  • Provides timely and accurate completion of assigned workflow.
  • Maintains company productivity and quality standards.
  • Maintains effective record keeping for all reviews performed.
  • Communicates effectively and efficiently to all parties involved in loan quality review process.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the department manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates degree in business, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Three-year history in a related field such as mortgage loan processing, loan officer, mortgage documentation specialist, or similar
  • Solid computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally; effective listener.
  • Detail oriented; analytical ability; able to prioritize and organize; self-starter.
  • Works well independently and with others; team motivated.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Traditional office environment with low-to-moderate office noise (computers, phones and business conversations). The position may be remote from main offices.
  • May require occasional travel.
  • May require flexibility in hours.
