THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Product Trainer at Xactly Corporation, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch training to customers, and employees as well as contributing to Xactly’s education content to ensure successful use of Xactly’s Solutions. You will evaluate modes of training delivery, such as in-person or virtual to optimize training effectiveness. You will also obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as job aids or google slides. You’ll collaborate with Product, Marketing, Solutions Consulting & Engineering to create/deliver content, helping our Customers become proficient and ultimately setting them up for success to manage their Xactly Products.

Xactly’s Education Services team is a tight-knit and rapidly growing team with diverse backgrounds. We’re charged with bringing Xactly to some of the biggest and most unique companies across all industries: from tech startups to world-famous companies. The Education Services side of our business is integral to the success of our valued customers, and as a Trainer within our department, you’ll have the opportunity to make a big impact while having a lot of fun along the way!
THE SKILL SET
- BS/BA Required, Graduate degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in training delivery and curriculum development; prior SaaS experience a strong bonus
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google suite products and working knowledge of learning management systems
- You have outstanding organizational skills and ability to navigate databases of information/content
- You’re proactive, creative, entrepreneurial and results-oriented
- You are able to prioritize requests based on importance and timing
- You have a passion for learning and training
- Successfully deliver multiple Xactly classes using techniques that drive the best learning comprehension.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure materials, methodology, and techniques are current and as impactful to learners as possible.
- Deliver training in a variety of settings including classroom and web-based instructor led.
- Ability to learn Xactly’s solutions so training participants see you as a product expert.
- Facilitate training in a variety of global settings.
WITHIN ONE MONTH, YOU’LL
- Meet the XU team and begin your onboarding experience
- Build relationships with internal business partners including Sales, Product, Marketing & Engineering
- Receive administrative training on how to leverage internal tools including Jira, Google Docs, Canva, etc
- Gain a strong understanding of Sales Performance Management space and the business challenges Xactly solves; become a product expert on Xactly Solutions
- Complete training via a series of recorded context, on-demand content and in-classroom shadowing... take lots of notes and tell us how we can improve!
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL
- Have the ability to demonstrate strong proficiency in product knowledge Collaborate with engineering, support, and product management teams to help develop training curriculum and ensure materials, methodology, and techniques are current
- Contribute to creating, modifying, and maintaining Xactly Education training materials
- Have the ability to deliver training in a variety of settings including classroom and web-based instructor led
- Train multiple user levels and manage content to ensure the latest product version is being showcased with best practices
- Average 4 rating from surveys for training department via Surveys
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL
- Consider yourself a product expert in Xactly’s solutions our platform
- Successfully promote Customer satisfaction through training on Xactly products and ensuring a successful rollout of Xactly Solutions to Customers
- Manage content to ensure the latest product version is being showcased with best practices
- Successfully deliver training classes using techniques that drive the best learning comprehension
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL
- At 12-months, you will be seen as a well-versed, trusted business-advisor and expert, making a significant positive impact company-wide
- Autonomously facilitate all levels of training in Xactly classroom, on-customer site globally, and through webinars

The compensation range is specific to the United States and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and delivery model. A reasonable estimate of the range is $62,000 to $78,000 plus applicable bonus.
Applications will be accepted only for those currently residing in the posted country for this role. There is no expectation of approval for an international relocation for this job.
