Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata for an X-Ray Technician. The X-Ray Technician will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to capture high-quality X-ray images, follow clinical protocols, ensure proper patient positioning, and maintain safety standards during procedures. Other responsibilities include preparing patients for imaging, explaining procedures, maintaining equipment, and managing imaging records in compliance with medical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining X-ray equipment
- Expertise in patient care, including communication and assistance before, during, and after procedures
- Knowledge of safety protocols, radiation protection, and infection control standards
- Ability to maintain accurate imaging records and handle image processing software
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and certification in Radiography
- Registered and licensed as an X-Ray Technician as per local or national guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
