About This Role

We're looking for a hands-on Marketing Lead who has directly contributed to scaling a startup and can lead all marketing functions while being able to execute them personally when needed. You'll have approximately 5 years of well-rounded marketing experience across SEO, content, paid advertising, social media, community building, influencer marketing, and affiliate programs.

In this role, you'll develop and execute strategic marketing plans across all channels, lead and mentor a growing team, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive meaningful business growth. Most importantly, you'll need to maintain your own personal brand, be active on social media, and represent Writesonic at industry events.

A critical aspect of this role is elevating Writesonic's brand within the SEO community and establishing us as a known and respected leader in AI-powered SEO and marketing solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and lead integrated marketing strategies across SEO, content, paid ads, social, community, influencer, and affiliate channels
• Personally execute campaigns across various channels, demonstrating technical proficiency in all marketing disciplines
• Manage, mentor, and scale a team of marketers—building a performance-driven culture
• Build Writesonic's reputation and visibility within the SEO community through strategic partnerships, content initiatives, and thought leadership
• Cultivate relationships with industry influencers, SEO experts, and community leaders to amplify our brand
• Analyze marketing funnels, optimize conversion rates, and uncover growth levers
• Own key metrics like CAC, LTV, MRR growth, and lead generation
• Partner with product and sales to craft campaigns that highlight our AI agents' capabilities and drive adoption
• Implement best-in-class tools, processes, and analytics for scaling marketing efforts
• Actively build your personal brand through social media, speaking engagements, and industry events
• Represent Writesonic publicly as a thought leader in AI marketing

You'd Be a Great Fit If You:

• Have around 5 years of hands-on marketing experience across multiple disciplines (SEO, content, social, paid ads, community)
• Have established connections within the SEO and marketing community that can be leveraged to build Writesonic's brand
• Have technical proficiency in each marketing channel and can personally execute campaigns when needed
• Have directly contributed to measurable business growth (e.g., revenue, MRR, user acquisition)
• Maintain an active personal brand on social media and industry platforms
• Are comfortable speaking at events and representing the company publicly
• Are both strategic and execution-focused—you can build a roadmap and launch campaigns yourself
• Are comfortable owning KPIs and making data-driven decisions
• Have experience in SEO and content strategy, with knowledge of AI's role in modern marketing
• Have experience building marketing systems that scale with limited resources
