Role : Business Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join our product development team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, ensuring that user requirements are effectively translated into actionable solutions. Experience with API products and backend systems is essential, and familiarity with the UK Rail industry is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze user and stakeholder requirements and translate them into development-ready tasks.
• Interact with customers and internal teams to document business needs and track requirement documents.
• Manage change requests by assessing their impact and incorporating them into existing systems.
• Develop a deep understanding of current systems to define modifications or expansions.
• Create detailed documentation such as use cases, functional descriptions, epics, and user stories.
• Collaborate closely with clients, developers, solution architects, and QA teams across all project stages.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, 3 Amigos, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
• Continuously verify product functionality to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Support solution implementation in coordination with development teams and business units.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT), client demonstrations, and feedback sessions.
• Contribute to defining product strategy and roadmap in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Prioritize work items based on business value and technical Skills & Qualifications :
• Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in business analysis with API products and backend systems.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with Agile frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar project management platforms.
• Knowledge of the UK Rail industry is highly desirable.
